Abstract
Mikroekonomija je usmjerena na manje segmente, za razliku od makroekonomije koji je širi pojam. Makroekonomija se bavi proučavanjem područja ekonomije ali u cjelini. Područje makroekonomije odnosi se na pojam inflacije, tu se također razmatra nezaposlenost, poslovni ciklus, bruto nacionalni proizvod. U ekonomiji pojam inflacije počinje se upotrebljavati u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, i to u gradu New Yorku kada je objavljena knjiga pod nazivom „Velika papirna obmana ili približavanje... More financijske eksplozije“. Ovu vrlo poznatu knjigu objavio je A. Demler. Stopa inflacije je postotna promjena razine cijena. Kada se promatraju vrste inflacije onda se može reći da ih postoji više vrsta. Prihvaćena su tri kriterija podjele inflacije, pa tako treba razlikovati inflaciju prema kriteriju intenziteta djelovanja, inflaciju prema uzrocima na samom početku i inflaciju prema stanju u privrednoj djelatnosti. Danas je inflacija prisutna, negdje u većoj, a negdje ipak u manjoj mjeri, u razvijenim zemljama i zemljama u razvoju, pa nositelji monetarne politike nastoje putem odgovarajućih instrumenata održavati inflaciju a sve kako bi se spriječila opasnost od visoke inflacije. Microeconomics is directed into smaller segments, in contrast to the macro-economy which is a broader concept. Macroeconomics studies in economics or in whole. Area macroeconomics refers to the concept of inflation, there is also considering unemployment, the business cycle, the gross national product.
