Abstract
Proizvodnja ima važnu ulogu u gospodarstvu i razvoju države. Države kroz proizvodnju izvoze svoje proizvode, dobra i usluge u druge zemlje te tako povećavaju svoj bruto domaći proizvod. Stoga sve države, ovisno o svom geografskom položaju i mogućnostima, trebaju ulagati u proizvodnju proizvoda za čiju proizvodnju imaju pogodne predispozicije. Jedna od najvažnijih i najzastupljenijih žitarica u svijetu je pšenica. Pšenica je od trenutka kad se pojavila, prije više od 8 000 godina, postala... More najvažnijom i nezamjenjivom žitaricom u životu ljudi. Ljudi diljem svijeta uzgajaju pšenicu te istu koriste za izradu brašna za kruh, pri pečenju kolača, izradi tjestenine i slično. Također, pšenica se može naći u brojnim alkoholnim pićima kao što su pivo i votka, koristi se u stočarstvu te kao konstrukcijski materijal. Pšenica je bogata raznim mineralima i vitaminima te kao takva, prilikom konzumacije, pomaže ljudima, točnije doprinosi ljudskom zdravlju. Neke od pogodnosti koje ljudi dobivaju prilikom redovite konzumacije pšenice su: pomaže u radu ljudskog metabolizma, smanjuje vjerojatnost pojave astme kod djece, smanjuje vjerojatnost dobivanja raka dojke kod žena, smanjuje vjerojatnost srčanog udara, itd. Nadalje, pšenica se uzgaja u cijelom svijetu, a što se tiče Republike Hrvatske, domaći proizvođači ne odustaju od uzgajanja pšenice iako ne mogu konkurirati na tržištu Europske unije. Republika Hrvatska trebala je prije mnogo godina, s naglaskom na vrijeme kad je ušla u Europsku uniju, početi ulagati u mehanizaciju i opremu domaćih proizvođača pšenice kako bi mogli biti što konkurentniji na domaćem, ali i na stranom tržištu. Production plays an important role in the economy and in the development of the country. Countries through manufacturing export their products, goods and services to other countries and thus increase their gross domestic product. Therefore, all countries, depending on their geographic position and capabilities, should invest in the production of products for which they have a suitable predispositions. More appearance, more than 8,000 years ago, wheat has become the most important and irreplaceable grain in human life. People all over the world cultivate wheat and use it for making bread flour, baking cakes, making pasta, etc. Also, wheat can be found in numerous alcoholic beverages such as beer and vodka, it can be used in cattle breeding and as a construction material. Wheat is rich with various minerals and vitamins and as such, when consumed, it helps people, more specifically contributes to human health. Some of the benefits people get while consuming wheat are: wheat helps in the work of human metabolism, wheat reduces the likelihood of asthma in children, wheat reduces the likelihood of getting breast cancer in women, wheat reduces the likelihood of a heart attack, etc. Furthermore, wheat is grown all over the world and when it comes to the Republic of Croatia domestic producers are not giving up on wheat production although they can't compete in the European Union market. A long time ago, or to be specific when it entered the European union, the Republic of Croatia should have started investing in the mechanization and equipment of domestic wheat so that the producers od wheat in Republic of Croatia could be as competitive as possible on the domestic and on the foreign market.
