The aim of this paper is to explain the development of software using the scrum agile method. Work consists of three main units. First, it describes software development methodologies, software development ever, agile methods, agile software development methods, then comparing scrum methods and other methods. The next part deals with the concrete use of the scrum method in practice. This section describes two examples of Trikoder d.o.o. and Privredna banka Zagreb. Ultimately, we come to the conclusion that business has become quite dynamic today, constant changes are a daily occurrence and there is a need for new development methods that will shorten time and deal with the changes of the old development methods, and therefore have become ineffective. Various development models are used to develop the software itself. As such, it has become a popular agile method today. The Agile method provides fast delivery and flexibility while at the same time guaranteeing the quality and involvement of the end user's interest. Agile methods were created naturally because of the need to increase the project's performance. It has been shown that a large number of projects managed in the traditional way had a problem and many of them failed to meet delivery deadlines at the expected cost. As the main agile software development methodology, the Scrum method has been highlighted. Research has shown that it is one of the best software development methods.
