Abstract
Iseljavanje iz Hrvatske je, već gotovo pola desetljeća od ulaska Hrvatske u Europsku uniju, i dalje tema koja budi izuzetno visok javni interes. Razloge za to valja tražiti u činjenici da kombinacija iseljavanja mladih, obrazovanih ljudi punih potencijala, uz već dugi niz godina negativan prirodni prirast i razmjerno visok udio starog stanovništva, čine demografsku sliku moderne Hrvatske katastrofalno lošom. Ovaj rad proučava teorijske odnose demografije i makromarketinga, nosi opći pregled demografije Hrvatske, i pokušava profilirati mlade iseljenike: odakle su, gdje odlaze, što tamo očekuju, i što ih je, u konačnici, ponukalo na iseljavanje
Abstract (english)
Croatian youth emigration is still a topic of public interest, even half a decade after Croatia entered European union. The reasons for that are to be found in the fact that the expulsion of young, educated people full of potential, along with the many years of negative natural population growth and relatively high proportions of elder people create catastrophic demographic picture of the present-day Croatia. This paper studies theoretical relations between demography and macro marketing, along with general overview of Croatian demographics, and tries to profile young Croatian emmigrants: who are they, where are they going, what do they expect to find there, and what motivated them to migrate in the first place.
