Abstract
Uz pomoć više metoda, čitanja knjiga, istraživanja po Internet stranicama i arhivima, u ovom radu je obrađena tema vezana za projekt Europske prijestolnice kulture. Program Europske prijestolnice kulture predstavlja vrlo važan projekt za svaki grad koji se kandidira jer mu pomaže pri njegovom kulturalnom razvitku koji mu može donijeti uspješnost i puno godina nakon kandidature i osvajanja titule. Postoji šest kategorija kriterija prema kojima se određuje pobjednički projekt. Grad pobjednik... More mora zadovoljiti svih šest kategorija i mora se isticati ne samo po kulturi, već i po svojim ostalim projektima kao što je održavanje raznih umjetničkih, glazbenih, kreativnih manifestacija od kojih profitira i grad, ali i regija. Ovaj rad se sastoji od sedam poglavlja gdje sam obradio kompletan program EPK. Nešto više je rečeno o samom programu Europske prijestolnicu kulture tj. opisani su počeci samog programa, kako je započeo i tko je za to zaslužan. Navedeni su prijašnji gradovi pobjednici te su predstavljeni budući kandidati, uz detaljan opis kandidature i potrebnih uvjeta koji trebaju i moraju biti zadovoljeni. Kroz rad je također obrađena tema i kandidature hrvatskih gradova Osijeka, Pule i Rijeke za ovu prestižnu titulu, njihova povijest, razvoj i konačno je prikazan grad pobjednik. Less
Abstract (english)
With the help of several methods (scrutinizing books, web site research and archives), this paper deals with the project European Capital of Culture. The European Capital of Culture project is very important for every candidate city because it helps in its cultural development, which can bring success to it many years after its candidacy and the winning title. There are six categories of criteria that determine the winner city. The winner city must meet all six categories and it needs to... More emphasize not only the city's culture, but also other projects such as the organization of various artistic, musical and creative events that benefit both the city and the region. This paper consists of seven chapters in which the complete project is analysed. Moreover, the beginnings of the project are described; how it started and who are the founding fathers. Previous cities have been noted and the future candidates are presented with a detailed description of the candidacy and the necessary conditions that must be met. Through this paper candidacies of the Croatian cities (Osijek, Pula and Rijeka) for this prestigious title are elaborated, as is their history, development and finally the name of the winner city.
