Abstract
Današnji turizam je dinamičan i suočen s mnogobrojnim promjenama, a njegova uspješnost ovisi upravo o fleksibilnosti turizma kao grane ekonomije i uključivanju u globalizacijske tokove. Globalizacija turizma zahvatila je sve turističke destinacije, pa tako i Hrvatsku, stoga je nužna što adekvatnija prilagodba tim procesima kako bi turizam mogao značajno doprinijeti gospodarskom razvitku. Interakcijom kulture i turizma, a uvažavajući utjecaj globalizacije, dolazi i do same pojave „globalizacije turizma“. Izračunavaju se indeksi globalizacije i atraktivnosti te definiraju pokretači globalizacije turizma. Utjecaji globalizacije na hrvatski turizam kao ključne faktore razvoja turizma u budućnosti izdvajaju kvalitetu turističkih odredišta, diferencijaciju turističkih odredišta, upotrebu adekvatnog socijalnog marketinga te praćenje kretanja razvoja. Predviđa se da će se hrvatski turizam u narednim razdobljima kretati upravo prema naglascima eko-turizma, krstarenju hrvatskom obalom te turizmu temeljenom na kulturnoj baštini.
Abstract (english)
Today's tourism is dynamic and faced with many changes, and its success depends precisely on the flexibility of tourism as a branch of the economy and its involvement in globalization flows. Globalization of tourism has affected all tourist destinations, Croatia is included, so it is necessary to adapt more adequately to these processes so that tourism can make a significant contribution to economic development. By the interaction of culture and tourism, and taking into account the influence of globalization, the very "globalization of tourism" is coming. Indices of globalization and attractiveness are calculated and defined by the drivers of globalization of tourism. The impacts of globalization on Croatian tourism as key factors for tourism development in the future will outline the quality of tourist destinations, differentiation of tourist destinations, the use of adequate social marketing and the tracking of development trends. It is anticipated that Croatian tourism will move towards the accent of eco-tourism, cruising on the Croatian coast and tourism based on cultural heritage. :
