Abstract
U ovom radu je prikazano kako se koristeći GIS tehnologiju ekonomski pokazatelji, tj. numerički podaci mogu pohraniti u prostornoj bazi podataka u GIS-u, zatim kartografski prikazati te analizirati. U tu svrhu su korišteni geometrijski podaci u okviru Vukovarsko-srijemske županije kojima su u GIS-u pridruženi različiti ekonomski (atributni) podaci koji su se prethodno nalazili u -.xlsx formatu. Pridruživanjem su nastali prostorni podaci te oni predstavljaju temelj promatranja ovog rada. Najvažniji cilj ovog rada je bio prikazati kako su prostorni podaci temelj GIS-a te su ujedno glavni predmet promatranja u GIS-u, a time i u ovom radu. Naime, danas se ekonomski pokazatelji ponajviše prikazuju u tabličnom obliku, dok se rjeđe prikazuju u grafičkom obliku (grafovima, odnosno dijagramima). Na temelju prikazanog u radu, vidljivo je kako se ekonomski pokazatelji vrlo svrhovito i učinkovito mogu prikazati i analizirati koristeći i kartografske prikaze i GIS metode. Na taj način mogu se uočiti i određene pojave u prostoru koje je teže ili nije moguće uočiti koristeći druge oblike prikaza podataka. Osim navedenog, sastavni dio GIS-a su i prostorne baze podataka. U njima se mogu sistematično pohraniti velike količine podataka. Stoga, može se zaključiti kako bi se u radu prikazano korištenje ekonomskih pokazatelja moglo koristiti kao njihov uobičajen način prikaza i način pohrane.
Abstract (english)
This paper shows that using GIS technology economical indicators, i.e. numerical data can be stored in a spatial database in GIS, then mapped and analyzed. For this purpose, geometric data within the Vukovar-Srijem County were used. Within the GIS there were associated with different economic (attribute) data previously found in the -.xlsx format. This joining generated spatial data and they represent the observing basis of this paper. The most important goal of this paper was to show that spatial data is the basis of the GIS and are at the same time the main observation object in the GIS, and thus in this paper. Namely, today's economic indicators are mostly presented in tabular form, whereas they are rarely shown in graphic form (graphs or diagrams). Based on the paper presented, it can be seen that the economic indicators can be very useful and efficient to show and analyze using maps and GIS methods. In this way, certain occurrences in a space can be observed that are more difficult or not could be seen by using other forms of data display. Apart from this, the GIS component is also a spatial database. They can systematically store large amounts of data. Therefore, it can be concluded that in the paper shown usage of economic indicators could be used as their usual mode of presentation and storage.
