Abstract
Državni zavodi za statistiku ili organizacije sličnog naziva prikupljaju enormno veliki broj podataka o različitim gospodarsko-socijalnim temama. Iako su podatci koji se prikupljaju i forme za prikupljanje i čuvanje u pravilu čvrsto strukturirani broj i formati tih podataka postaju sve veći. Zahtjevi javnosti prema takvim podatcima su sve veći i učestaliji zbog čega državni zavodi razmatraju uvođenje novih alata u obradu i generiranje novih podataka kroz istraživanje odnosa među... More prikupljanim podatcima. U ovome radu istražuje se mogućnost primjene Big Data analitike u Državnom zavodu za statistiku Republike Hrvatske. U radu su definirani i analizirani pojmovi vezani za Big Data: pojmovi vezani uz karakteristike Big Data (pet V), definirani su koncepti i tehnologije Big Data analitike, oni pojmovi koji nam pomažu da razlikujemo veliku količinu podataka i Big Data analitiku. Prikazan je pregled osnovnih kategorije analitike i vrste podataka. Predstavljen je i životni ciklus Big Data analitike koji je izuzetno važan prilikom prelaska na Big Data analitiku. Predstavljene su i usluge u oblaku: Iaas, PaaS i SaaS, kao i prednosti rada u oblaku. Definirana je uloga Državnog zavoda za statistiku i Europskog statističkog sustava. Prezentirane su prednosti i izazovi uvođenja Big Data analitike u službene statistike. Kako Eurostat tek testira mogućnost uvođenja Big Data analitike u svoja statistička istraživanja predstavljene su i smjernice i djelatnosti koje su zanimljive Eurostatu za uvođenje Big Data analitike. Objašnjena je i jedna mogućnost kako se službene statistike mogu prilagoditi današnjem vremenu. Prezentirana je potreba za obrazovanjem za zanimanja u području Data Science (znanost nad podacima). Croatian Bureau for Statistics or organizations of a similar name collect enormous amounts of data on different economic and social issues. Although the data being collected and the forms for collection and retention, as a rule, the tightly structured number and formats of these data become ever greater. The public's demand for such data is increasing and more frequent due to which the state institutes consider introducing new tools in processing and generating new data through... More researching the relationship between the collected data. This paper examines the possibility of applying Big Data Analytic in the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Croatia. Big Data related concepts are defined and analyzed in this paper: concepts related to the Big Data characteristics (five V), concepts and technologies of Big Data analytics are defined, those concepts that help us distinguish large amounts of data and Big Data analytics. An overview of the basic categories of analytics and data types is presented. The Big Data Analytic Life cycle was also presented, which is extremely important when it comes to the Big Data Analyst. Cloud services were also presented: Iaas, PaaS and SaaS, as well as the advantages of working in the cloud. The role of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics and the European Statistical System has been defined. The advantages and challenges of introducing Big Data Analytics into official statistics have been presented. As Eurostat is testing the possibility of introducing Big Data Analytic in its statistical research, there are also guidelines and activities that are interesting to Eurostat for the introduction of Big Data Analytic.
