Visual management, is a concept that represents simple and easily understood representation of system information. The purpose of visual management is to improve customer satisfaction, increase motivation and employee participation, better communication, increased productivity and work quality, faster decision making processes and reducing waste in processes. Everything that surrounds us is produced by operations. Operations are resources that create goods and services. They are explained as a process of transforming inputs into output, and they are the primary function of each and every organization were they profitable, non-profitable, public or even private. For organizations, in order to avoid problems and keep developing, an important prerequisite is a well-established organization of basic operational functions and their efficient performance. In this graduate thesis, „Visual Management as an Operations Management Tool“, an overview of the impact of visual management on the enterprise operations is given, emphasizing the importance of using visual tools as one of the fundamental factors of business simplification and business performance. Also, examples of visual management in everyday life, the importance of operations, operations management, strategic decisions in operation management and management tools will be shown and explained. It should be comprehended that there is virtually no company that hasn't inducted visualization in it's own business processes.
