Abstract
Ovaj rad govori o značaju i potrebi rastućih poduzeća u gospodarstvu. Glavni cilj rada je potvrditi ili osporiti hipotezu da postoji razlika između rastućih i nerastućih poduzeća u Hrvatskoj. Analizom su obuhvaćena poduzeća do 42 mjeseca starosti u razdoblju od 2009. do 2017. čiji su vlasnici aktivni poduzetnici do 64.g. Testira se povezanost rasta poduzeća i umreženosti poduzetnika, uočavanja prilika, utjecaja straha od neuspjeha, razine obrazovanja, izvoza poduzeća i plana zapošljavanja. Rezultati su potvrdili da postoji razlika između rastućih i nerastućih poduzeća.
Abstract (english)
This paper discusses the importance and need of growing firms in the economy. The aim of the paper is to confirm or decline the hypothesis that there is a difference between growing and non-growing firms in Croatia. The analysis covers enterprises up to 42 months of age in the period from 2009 to 2017, whose owners are active entrepreneurs up to 64 years old. Contribution to the firm growth is tested through few hypotheses. Hypotheses are based on owner networks, opportunity perception, fear of failure, export orientation, employment plan and owner education. The results confirmed that there is a significant difference between growing and non-growing firms.
