Abstract
Kvaliteta života kao multidisciplinarni koncept, glavna je tema ovog završnog rada, a može se definirati kao zadovoljstvo pojedinca i stupanj njegovog blagostanja. U posljednje vrijeme javlja se značajan istraživački interes za kvalitetu života iz više znanstvenih grana, što za posljedicu ima razvoj različitih indikatora koji istu nastoje kvantificirati različitim pristupima. Time se kvaliteta života i blagostanje mogu promatrati kroz objektivnu i/ili subjektivnu perspektivu. Ovaj rad... More prikazuje teorijski koncept kvalitete života, načine mjerenja kroz objektivne i subjektivne pokazatelje. Naglasak je pri tome stavljen na različite popularne subjektivne pokazatelje koji se metodološki razlikuju, ali svi imaju za cilj prikazati i analizirati različite komponente sretnog života građana (npr. bruto nacionalna sreća, svjetska baza sreće, indeks kvalitete života, Europsko istraživanje kvalitete života, indeks sreće planeta, nacionalni indeks sreće). Najveći dio rada prikazuje zadovoljstvo kvalitetom života stanovnika Europske unije, a temeljeno na alatu „Quality of Life“ kojeg je razvio Eurostat. Pomoću tog alata uspoređene su različite države prema nekoliko pokazatelja te je prikazano koje su države naj(ne)sretnije u okviru Europske unije. Na kraju je prikazana i kvaliteta života stanovnika Hrvatske pomoću nekoliko indikatora. Zaključak je kako istraživanja kvalitete života mogu nositeljima politike dati važe informacije o sreći i zadovoljstvu građana te kako bi se u budućnosti bilo poželjno više oslanjati na njih ako je blagostanje stanovnika cilj društva. Abstract (english)
Quality of life as a multidisciplinary concept is the main theme of this final work, and can be defined as an individual's satisfaction and degree of well-being. Recently, there has been a significant research interest in the quality of life from multiple scientific fields, resulting in the development of different indicators that seek to quantify different approaches. In this way, quality of life and well-being can be viewed from an objective and / or subjective perspective. This... More paper presents a theoretical concept of quality of life, ways of measuring through objective and subjective indicators. The emphasis is on various popular subjective indicators that are methodologically different, but all aim to show and analyze the various components of a happy life for citizens (e.g. Gross National Happiness, World Database of Happiness, Quality of Life Index, European Quality of Life Survey, Happy Planet Index, Croatian Happiness Index). Most of the work shows satisfaction with the quality of life of EU citizens, based on the "Quality of Life" tool developed by Eurostat. This tool compares different countries according to several indicators and shows which countries are (un) happiest in the European Union. Finally, the quality of life of the Croatian population is presented using several indicators. The conclusion is that quality of life research can give valid policy-makers information about the happiness and satisfaction of citizens, and in the future it is advisable to rely more on them if the well-being of the population is the main goal of society.
