International logistics involves the transfer of goods from the place of production to the point of sale with the crossing of international borders. The transfer of goods, raw materials or products is enabled by road, rail, pipeline, sea, river or air. When it comes to international transport, in most cases there is a combination of these routes. Because domestic markets are saturated many businesses are forced to expand their business beyond their borders. In order to be able to deliver products on time and in the shortest possible time, they must have a strong logistics system developed. Likewise, business entities have at their disposal four logistics strategies that they can apply and design according to their business. In order for such a business to be successful, it is necessary to consider various factors, especially those that cannot be influenced, and to see whether entering the international market will pay off. There are various researches and analyzes that can be used to see the readiness of a business entity to enter the international market. The most common are PEST and SWOT analyzes that contribute to this issue. This thesis presents the theory of international logistics business, its environment, transport used and logistics strategies that can be applied. The practical part is presented on the business of Zara, on the example of which a lot of analysis has already been done on this issue, which only shows how complex and strong its business is. At the end of the paper, suggestions for improving Zara's business were given.
