Just as it is important to prepare in advance for entering an entrepreneurial venture, it is also important to plan a strategy for exiting an entrepreneurial venture in a timely manner. Specifically, the strategy of exiting an entrepreneurial venture entrepreneurs should start planning immediately upon starting an entrepreneurial venture. Models of exit from the entrepreneurial venture are: liquidation of the company, sale of the company, transfer of business to family members, transfer of business to members outside the family and transfer of management to a professional manager. The main goal of an entrepreneur when leaving an entrepreneurial venture is to choose an exit model that will bring him two benefits at the same time - financial benefit to the entrepreneur and successful continuation of the company's business in the future. Niether one of the departures from entrepreneurial venture is easy, and companies go through numerous changes during the business transfer process. Depending on how prepared the entrepreneurs are for the process of transferring the business of the company, upon its completion they continue to operate more or less successfully on the market. Each business transfer process is extremely complex and should be carefully planned and carefully performed. Croatian company "Mlaco d.o.o." will soon be in the process of transferring business and its owner Mr. Dubravko Knežević is thinking intensively about the business transfer process, but he still does not have a clear plan for the business transfer process and hopes that when the time comes, he will transfer the business to his son, who has been actively involved in the company's business for years.
