Abstract
Svatko od nas je drugačiji, te zbog toga postoji više tipa ličnosti i u konačnici stilova vodstva. Ovisno o situaciji, vođi, sljedbenicima odnosno radnicima, vođa će koristiti određeni stil. Već u najranijim danima života, u predškolskoj dobi, možemo vidjeti kakav bi menadžer to dijete moglo biti. Stil vođenja se mijenjao kroz povijest. U socijalizmu je tipičan stil vođenja autokratski. Raspadom socijalizma i država koje su koristile taj sustav upravljanja, dolazi do dubokog restrukturiranja pa... More tako i do promjene vođenja, kako na makro tako i na mikro razini. Prelazak iz tipičnog autokratskog stila u demokratski stil vođenja dogodio se u kapitalizmu. U ovom radu će biti objašnjeni odgovori na pitanja: Koji stilovi vođenja postoje? Zašto određeni ljudi koriste određeni stil? Čine li to svjesno? Koji tip ličnosti ima preduvjete za korištenje određenog stila vođenja? Koje su prednosti i mane te posljedice korištenja određenog stila? Stilove vodstva možemo povezati sa osobnom ličnošću, no to ne mora biti pravilo, naročito ukoliko dolazi do velikih promjena. Svaka promijena je mukotrpna, duga i nailazi na otpor. Kada se neka korporacija mijenja iz temelja, odnosno restrukturira, najčešće se susrećemo sa strahom od promijena. Ljudi se boje novog i neistraženog. Vole biti u sigurnosti „poznatoga“ pa kada nastupi određena promjena, ovom slučaju, vođenja, naići ćemo na otpor, bez obzira ako bi ta promjena pozitivno utjecala na cijelu kompaniju. Less
Abstract (english)
No one is the same, everyone is unique in its own way. Therefore, one can distinguish multiple types of personalities which lead to different styles of leaderships. Which type of leadership style will be used depends on the leader, the situation and the employees. Even while we are young, we can see what kind of person we are going to become once we grow up. The leadership style has been changing/ has changed through the history. Socialism is a typical example of an autocratic style of... More leadership which ended in the early 90's in Europe. After that, a deep restructuring has started, followed by the changes in the leadership both on the micro and the macro levels. A transit from a typical autocratic style of leadership to a democratic one occurred in capitalism. In this paper, there will be explained questions such as: “Which styles of leadership exist? Why are certain people using certain styles? Are they doing it consciously? Which type of personality has the potential to use a certain style of leadership? What are the pros & cons and consequences of using particular style?” The leadership style can be associated with personality, but mostly that is not the case, especially if there are big changes on the way. Every change is hard to install and a lot of people will try to counter it. Since people are afraid of the new and the unknown, once they face a change in their life, they will try to counter it no matter what, even if the change is good for them and for the whole organization.
