Abstract
Svaka organizacija želi iskoristiti svoj najvrjedniji resurs - svoje zaposlenike. Međutim, u suvremenom svijetu svatko od nas nosi se sa brojnim nedaćama zbog čega efikasnost na poslu može patiti i ne davati prave rezultate stoga organizacije pokušavaju postići sve kako bi potaknuli i ohrabrili zaposlenike da daju sve od sebe. Kao jedan od mogućih rješenja spominje se coaching koji se usredotočuje na razumijevanje trenutne situacije, stvaranje dobro izgrađene vizije za budućnost i usmjeravanje puta ka ostvarenju te vizije.Coaching se može promatrati kao razvojni proces koji uključuje strukturiranu i usmjerenu interakciju, uz korištenje prikladnih strategija, alata i tehnika radi promoviranja poželjne i održive promjene koja ide u korist klijentu, a prema mogućnostima i drugim zainteresiranim stranama. On se više fokusira na kratkoročno poboljšanje performansi, ali je usredotočen na razvoj osobe iznutra, a ne na samo davanje određenog znanja koje bi moglo pomoći osobi da poboljša svoju performansu. Međutim, sve organizacije još uvijek nisu prihvatile ovakav način razmišljanja te se njihova primjena u organizacijama uglavnom svodi na onaj dio pružanja određenog znanja, a ne na gledanje sveukupne slike. U radu je prikazan također i jedan primjer organizacije koja je shvatila da je coaching dobar alat koji podiže efikasnost samog pojedinca, a time i cijele organizacije.
Abstract (english)
Every organization wants to use its most valuable resource - its employees. However, in the modem world, each of us is faced with many adversities, which is why efficiency at work can suffer and not deliver the right results, so organizations try to do their best to encourage employees to do their best. One of the possible solutions is coaching, that focuses on understanding the current situation, creating a well-built vision for the future and guiding the path towards achieving that vision. Coaching is a development process that involves structured and focused interaction, using appropriate strategies, tools and techniques to promote a desirable and sustainable change that benefits the client and opportunities and other stakeholders. lt focuses more on improving performance in the short term but is also focused on developing a person from the inside out, rather than just providing specific knowledge that could help a person improve their performance. However, not all organizations have adopted this line of thinking yet, and their application to organizations generally boils down to providing some knowledge rather than looking at the overall picture. The paper also presents one example of an organization that has come to realize that coaching is a good tool that raises the effectiveness of the individual, and thus the entire organization.
