Abstract
Proces globalizacije koji uzrokuje međuovisnost svjetskih ekonomija definiran je uglavnom u ekonomskom i socijalnom kontekstu. Analizirajući različite statističke podatke o turizmu i elementima globalizacije u turizmu, može se konstatirati da globalizacija pozitivno utječe na oblikovanje i razvoj turističke ekonomije. No, sam je proces veoma osjetljiv na krizne situacije, uzimajući u obzir povezanost turističkih usluga i tijeka kapitala u svijetu. Kao najnoviji primjer krizne situacije, kako u svijetu, tako i u Republici Hrvatskoj, potreban je osvrt na pandemiju koronavirusa, iz kojega se lako mogu vidjeti nedostaci globalizacije koji su često zanemarivani. Zbog valjane razrade teme važno je predstaviti turističke tekovine u procesu globalizacije i opisati najnovije trendove u turizmu.
Abstract (english)
The process of globalization, that causes the interdependence of world economies, is defined mainly in the economic and social context. By analyzing various statistical data on tourism and elements of globalization in tourism, it can be concluded that globalization has a positive impact on the formation and development of the tourism economy. But the process itself is very sensitive to crisis situations, considering the connection between tourist services and the flow of capital in the world. As the latest example of a crisis, both in the world, and in the Republic of Croatia, a review of the coronavirus pandemic is necessary to see the shortcomings of globalization that have often been neglected. It is crucial to present the tourist attainment in the process of globalization, and to describe the latest trends in tourism, for the valid elaboration of this currently relevant topic.
