Abstract
Razvoj elektroničke trgovine veže se uz područje informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija. Elektronička trgovina tako predstavlja proces kupnje, odnosno prodaje te razmjenjivanje proizvoda ili usluga putem javno dostupne mreže, tj. interneta. Na ovaj način unutar užurbanog načina života dolazi do smanjenja vremena transakcija te smanjenja troškova za ponuditelje proizvoda i usluga. Elektronička trgovina posebno je došla do značaja za vrijeme pandemije COVID 19 virusa. Naime, upravo je navedena pandemija uzrokovala promjene u ponašanju potrošača gdje su se isti potaknuti strahom odlučili uzimati proizvode sa socijalnom distancom, tj. putem elektroničke trgovine. Poduzeća u tom kontekstu nastoje odgovoriti porastu potražnje online trgovine te se usmjeravaju na poslovanje putem novih prodajnih kanala. Poduzeća ulažu nove financijske resurse kako bi se omogućila online prodaja. Postavlja se pitanje je li se ulaganje u novu digitalizaciju online poslovanja isplatilo, odnosno jesu li poduzeća uspjela ostvariti financijsku korist.
Abstract (english)
The development of e-commerce is related to the field of information and communication technologies. E-commerce therefore represents the process of buying, selling and exchanging products or services via a publicly available network, the Internet. In this way, within a hectic lifestyle, there is a reduction in transaction time and a reduction in costs for product and service providers. E-commerce became especially important during the COVID 19 virus pandemic. Namely, this pandemic caused changes in consumer behavior where they were motivated by fear and decided to take products with a social distance, through e-commerce. In this context, companies are trying to respond to the growing demand for online shopping and are focusing on doing business through new sales channels. Companies are therefore investing new financial resources to enable online sales. The question is whether the investment in the new digitalization of online business has paid off, or whether companies have managed to achieve financial benefits.
