Abstract
Svaki poduzetnik pred kraj svoje karijere u određenom poduzeću mora krenuti razmišljati o izlasku iz poduzetničkog pothvata. Taj proces je zahtjevan te nije niti malo jednostavan zbog velike količine energije i vremena koje poduzetnik u proces izlaska iz poduzetničkog pothvata mora uložiti. Svaki vlasnik poduzeća detaljno promišlja o pokretanju svog poslovnog pothvata te jednako tako mora biti svjestan potrebe za pripremom izlaska iz istog. More pothvata poželjno je početi na vrijeme kako se ne bi pojavili problemi kako za vlasnika, tako i za trenutne zaposlenike i poduzeće te u konačnici budućeg vlasnika poduzeća. Trenutak za koji se smatra kako je idealan za početak razmišljanja o izlasku iz poduzetničkog pothvata je trenutak pokretanja poslovanja. Poduzetnik bi se na početku svoje karijere trebao opredijeliti za jedan od modela izlaska iz poduzetničkog pothvata. Na raspolaganju ima sljedeće modele: prijenos poslovanja na članove obitelji, prodaja poduzeća, zapošljavanje profesionalnog menadžera te likvidacija poduzeća. Poduzetnik odabire model na temelju tržišne situacije poduzeća te jednako tako obiteljske situacije ukoliko je riječ o obiteljskom poduzeću. Potrebno je obratiti pozornost i na vlastite želje i potrebe što se najviše ogleda u osobnim razlozima poduzetnika za napuštanjem poslovanja. Razlog napuštanja poduzeća uvelike ovisi o tome koji će model poduzetnik u konačnici odabrati. Važnu stavku prilikom odabira modela predstavlja i financijska korist koju poduzetnik može ostvariti u slučaju prodaje poduzeća. Ovaj proces nije jednostavan i toga svaki poduzetnik u samom svom početku poslovanja mora biti svjestan jer mora biti spreman na mnoštvo prepreka, rizika i barijera koje se mogu pojaviti u trenutku kada započne sam proces. Razina pripremljenosti igra veliku ulogu u procesu prijenosa poslovanja te je poželjno da poduzetnik zajedno s osobom, osobama ili poduzećem koje preuzima poslovanje bude maksimalno pripremljen za provođenje prijenosa poslovanja te da poduzetnik u konačnici bude spreman na život nakon uloge koju je obnašao dugi niz godina. U radu je opisan i analiziran slučaj vlasnika Pekare Merkur koji se svrstava u skupinu poduzetnika koji imaju više od 55 godina te moraju aktivno započeti s razmišljanjem i planiranjem izlaska iz poduzetničkog pothvata. Znanjem i iskustvom već desetljećima uspješno vodi svoj poslovni pothvat te je već odabrao svog nasljednika koji je iz kruga uže obitelji, što ne mora biti čudno s obzirom da u poduzeću rade gotovo svi članovi obitelji. Every entrepreneur at the end of his career has to think about exiting the entrepreneurial venture. This process is challenging due to substantial amount of energy and time that the entrepreneur must invest in the process of exiting an entrepreneurial venture. Every business owner puts a significant effort in starting of their business and just as importantly, has to be aware of the need to prepare the exit from the business. The moment that is considered to be ideal for starting to think about exiting an entrepreneurial venture is the moment of starting a business. At the beginning of his career entrepreneur should choose one of the models of exiting an entrepreneurial venture. Available models are: transfer of business to family members, the selling of the company, hiring a professional manager and liquidation of the company. Entrepreneur selects a model based on the market situation of the company, as well as the family situation if it is a family business. It is necessary to pay attention to one’s own desires and needs, which can be reflected in personal reasons entrepreneur has that are his drive to exit an entrepreneurial venture. The reason for exiting an entrepreneurial venture greatly depends on the model entrepreneur chooses. An important factor when choosing a model is the financial profit which the entrepreneur can gain in the event of selling the company. At the very start of creating a business, every entrepreneur needs to be aware of the complexity of this process because he has to count on encountering a lot of obstacles, risks and barriers that can arise in the exact moment the process begins. The level of preparation plays a major role in the process of transferring business. It is desirable for entrepreneur to be well prepared, along with the person or company that is taking over the business and that the entrepreneur is ready for the life after the role one has played for many years. This paper describes and analyzes the case of the owner of Pekara Merkur. The owner of the company belongs to the group of entrepreneurs who are over 55 years old and have to actively start thinking and planning the exit of an entrepreneurial venture. With his expertise and experience, this owner has been successfully running his business for decades and has already selected his successor from his family, which is not necessarily surprising considering that the business is primarily comprised of family members.
