Abstract
Kako bi se omogućili sigurniji uvjeti rada, te se poljoprivrednicima i radnicima zemalja u razvoju platile pravedne cijene njihovog truda i rada, uveden je koncept pravedne trgovine. To je sustav koji trenutno funkcionira na svjetskoj razini te se još uvijek proširuje. Isto tako, povezujući se sa zemljama u razvoju i pomažući im na takav način, bogate države sudjeluju u društveno odgovornom poslovanju. Trenutno mnoge zemlje sudjeluju u sustavu pravedne trgovine. Neke od njih su Dominikanska Republika, Gvatemala, Gana, Uganda, Južna Afrika i još nekoliko drugih zemalja u razvoju, a proizvodi koji se proizvode su kava, kakao, šećer, banane, med, pamuk, vino, voće i cvijeće. Fair trade koncept teži poboljšanju egzistencije, jačanju organizacije proizvođača, podizanju svijest potrošača o raznim negativnim učincima na proizvođače međunarodne trgovine, zaštiti osnovnih ljudskih prava promicanjem socijalne pravde, očuvanju okoliša i ekonomskoj sigurnosti. Svrha rada je analiza dosadašnje teorijske spoznaje kao i objašnjavanje pojma, značenja i svrhe oznake pravedne trgovine te njen utjecaj na poslovanje gospodarskog subjekta koji ju koristi na svojim proizvodima. Temeljni cilj rada je utvrditi stavove i znanje potrošača o oznaci pravedne trgovine kako bi se spoznalo koliko populacija poznaje sustav pravedne trgovine, te na koji način bi se onima koji s tim pojmom još nisu upoznati isti mogao više približiti.
Abstract (english)
In order to provide safer working conditions and to pay fair prices to farmers and developing country workers for their efforts and work, the concept of fair trade has been introduced. This is a system that currently operates globally and it is still expanding. Likewise, by liaising with developing countries and helping them in such a way, wealthy countries participate in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Currently, many countries participate in the fair trade system. Some of them are the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ghana, Uganda, South Africa and several other developing countries, and the products produced are coffee, cocoa, sugar, bananas, honey, cotton, wine, fruits and flowers. The fair trade concept seeks to improve livelihoods, strengthen producer organizations, raise consumer awareness of the various negative effects on producers of international trade, protect human fundamental rights by promoting social rights and preserving the environment and economic security. The purpose of the work is to analyse the theoretical knowledge and to explain the concept, meaning and purpose of the fair trade label, as well as its impact on the business of the economic operator using it on its products. The core objective of the work is to establish consumers attitudes and knowledge on the fair trade label in order to reflect how the population is familiar with the fair trade system, and how to bring it closer to those who are not yet aware of it.
