Abstract
Poduzetništvo uključuje pokretanje poduzetničke aktivnosti, no u širem smislu poduzetništvo obuhvaća bilo koju aktivnost koja uključuje elemente kao što su inovativnost, kreativnost, preuzimanje rizika, i sl. U današnje vrijeme čini se vrlo lakim postati poduzetnik. Ukoliko ima ideju, osoba svega u nekoliko koraka može pokrenuti vlastiti poslovni pothvat. No nitko otvaranjem poduzeća ne postaje uspješan poduzetnik, dapače, to uopće nije lako postati. Uspješni poduzetnici, prije svega, su... More oni koji znaju prepoznati pravu priliku, a svojim iskustvom, znanjem i vještinama tu priliku i iskoristiti i pretvoriti u uspješan pothvat. Osim toga, uspješni poduzetnici teže k uspjehu preuzimajući na sebe značaj rizik poslovanja. S obzirom da je svrha rada interpretirati poduzetništvo u užem smislu riječi, a ono se odnosi na pokretanje poslovnog pothvata, u ovom radu fokus će biti stavljen na poduzetnike kao pokretače i vlasnike poduzeća. Cilj rada je definirati poduzetništvo i istražiti karakteristike i osobine uspješnih poduzetnika. Općepoznata je činjenica kako se ljudi razlikuju prema vlastitim osobinama, no postoje određene karakteristike koje se pojavljuju kod većine uspješnih poduzetnika, a neke od njih su predanost, odlučnost, ustrajnost, disciplina, samopouzdanje, optimizam, inovativnost, preuzimanje rizika, postavljanje jasnih ciljeva, potreba za postignućem, težište kontrole tolerancija na neizvjesnost te neizostavne komunikacijske vještine. Entrepreneurship means starting an entrepreneurial activity, but in a broader sense, entrepreneurship includes any activity that includes elements such as innovation, creativity, risk-taking, and so on. Nowadays, it seems very easy to become an entrepreneur. If someone has an idea, he/she can start his/her own business in a few steps. But no one becomes a successful entrepreneur by starting a business, in fact, it is not that easy to become one. Successful entrepreneurs are mainly those... More who know how to identify the right opportunity and use their experience, knowledge and skills to take that opportunity and turn it into a successful business. Moreover, successful entrepreneurs strive for success by taking on the importance of entrepreneurial risk. Since the purpose of this paper is to interpret entrepreneurship in a narrow sense and it relates to starting a business, this paper will focus on entrepreneurs as owners of the companies. The aim of the paper is to define entrepreneurship and explore the characteristics and traits of successful entrepreneurs.
