Abstract
Tema diplomskog rada je utjecaj klimatskih promjena na proizvodnju hrane, a cilj diplomskog rada je definirati utjecaj klimatskih promjena na proizvodnju hrane. Prehrambena industrija Republike Hrvatske jedna je od najvažnijih grana prerađivačke industrije i odnosi se na preradu poljoprivrednih proizvoda te se iz tog razloga može reći kako je poljoprivreda izuzetno važna za proizvodnju hrane i prehrambenu industriju neke zemlje. Razvoj prehrambene industrije pozitivno utječe na... More konkurentnost cijele države, a osim toga razvoj prehrambene industrije direktno utječe i na povećanje zaposlenosti. Prehrambena industrija je najznačajniji sektor prehrambene industrije Europske unije te ostvaruje prihode od oko 1109 milijardi eura, te ostvaruje 2,1% ukupnog BDP-a. U radu su definirana dva važna pojma klima i klimatske promjene te njihov utjecaj na poljoprivredu i proizvodnju hrane. Klimatske promjene zahvaćaju sve gospodarske sektore, no najviše od svih klimatskim promjenama ugrožena je poljoprivreda i one su jedan od najjačih izazova s kojima se svijet susreće. Uzroci klimatskih promjena nisu samo u prirodi nego se sve češće pronalaze i u društvenom sustavu. Može se zaključiti kako klimatske promjene imaju veliki utjecaj na poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a utjecaj klimatskih promjena potrebno je smanjivati pomoću mjera prilagodba. Uspješna prilagodba ne ovisi samo o vladama već i o aktivnom i trajnom angažmanu dionika, uključujući nacionalne, regionalne, multilateralne i međunarodne organizacije, javni i privatni sektor, civilno društvo i druge relevantne dionike, kao i učinkovito upravljanje znanjem. Abstract (english)
The topic is the impact of climate change on food production, and the aim of the thesis is to define the impact of climate change on food production. The food industry of the Republic of Croatia is one of the most important branches of the industry and refers to the manufacturing of agricultural products, and for that reason it can be said that agriculture is extremely important for food production and food industry of a country. The development of the food industry has a ... More positive effect on the competitiveness of the entire country, and in addition, the development of the food industry directly affects the increase in employment. The food industry is the most important sector of the processing industry of the European Union and generates revenues of about 1109 billion euros, and generates 2.1% of total GDP. The paper defines two important concepts of climate and climate change and their impact on agriculture and food production. Climate change affects all economic sectors, but most of all climate change affects agriculture and they are one of the strongest challenges facing the world. The causes of climate change are not only in nature but are increasingly found in the social system as well. It can be concluded that climate change has a major impact on agricultural production, and the impact of climate change needs to be reduced through adaptation measures. Successful adaptation depends not only on governments but also on the active and ongoing engagement of stakeholders, including national, regional, multilateral and international organizations, the public and private sectors, civil society and other relevant stakeholders, as well as effective knowledge management.
