Ovisno o skupini proizvoda i usluga, pa i pojedinog proizvoda i usluge koji se kupuju, razvijeni su brojni modeli ponašanja pri kupnji i donošenja odluke o kupnji. Radi učinkovitosti prodaje potrebno je razmotriti donošenje odluke o kupnji za svaki pojedini proizvod ili uslugu. Proces donošenja odluke o kupnji odvija se u pet koraka, a to su svijest o potrebi, pronalaženje informacija, procjena mogućih alternativa, odluka o kupovini i ponašanje nakon kupovine. Depending on the group of products and services, as well as the individual product and service being purchased, numerous models of buying behavior and purchasing decisionmaking have been developed. For sales efficiency, it is necessary to consider making a purchase decision for each individual product or service.
