Abstract
Financijska izvješća nisu samo zakonska obveza već su ona temelj poslovnog odlučivanja. Kako bi podaci, odnosno informacije iz izvješća mogli služiti kao podloga za poslovno odlučivanje, potrebno je poznavati tehnike analize financijskih izvješća. Kao najčešće tehnike javljaju se horizontalna i vertikalna analiza te analiza financijskih omjera. Kroz rad su analizirana financijska izvješća poduzeća Podravke d.d. koje slovi kao jedno od najuspješnijih hrvatskih poduzeća, u razdoblju od 2017. do 2020.. Utvrđeno je kako je poduzeće u promatranom razdoblju značajno smanjilo obveze te povećalo dugotrajnu imovinu, dok kratkotrajna imovina bilježi smanjenje. Ukupni prihodi i rashodi također rastu, no prihodi rastu većom dinamikom, stoga poduzeće iskazuje i bolje poslovne rezultate na kraju negoli na početku promatranog razdoblja. Većina financijskih omjera iznad je preporučenih vrijednosti, no postoje i omjeri koje je potrebno poboljšati. Od pojedinačnih omjera ispod preporučenih vrijednosti su koeficijent trenutne likvidnosti, koeficijent financijske stabilnosti, koeficijent vlastitog financiranja, koeficijent obrta ukupne imovine te ekonomičnost financiranja. Ostali omjeri bilježe dobre rezultate u gotovo svim godinama promatranog razdoblja. Od skupina omjera, posebno je potrebno poboljšati omjere investiranja, iako se ni unatoč lošijim omjera iz ove skupine ne može reći da je ulaganje u dionice u potpunosti neisplativo, što pokazuje i trend povećanje tržišne vrijednosti dionica.
Abstract (english)
Financial statements are not just a legal obligation but they are the basis of business decision making. In order for the data, ie information from the report to serve as a basis for business decision-making, it is necessary to know the techniques of analysis of financial statements. The most common techniques are horizontal and vertical analysis and analysis of financial ratios. The paper analyzes the financial statements of Podravka d.d., which is known as one of the most successful Croatian companies. It was found that the company significantly reduced liabilities and increased non-current assets in the observed period, while current assets decreased. Total revenues and expenses also recorded growth, but revenues grew more dynamically, so the company recorded better business results at the end than at the beginning of the observed period. Most ratios are above the recommended values, but there are also ratios that need to be improved. Among the individual ratios below the recommended values are the current liquidity ratio, the financial stability ratio, the own financing ratio, the turnover ratio of total assets and the cost-effectiveness of financing. All other ratios record good results in almost all years of the observed period. Of the ratio groups, it is especially necessary to improve investment ratios, although despite the worse ratios in this group, it cannot be said that investing in shares is completely unprofitable, which is shown by the trend of increasing market value of shares.
