Abstract
Danas se u svijetu, na dnevnoj bazi, obavi na milijune razmjena različitih roba i usluga. Sve te transakcije obavljaju se na mjestu koje nazivamo tržište. Tržište je prema tome, mjesto gdje se susreću ponuda i potražnja. Mjesto gdje prodavači nude svoje proizvode i svoje usluge u određeno vrijeme na određenom mjestu za određenu cijenu, a koje kupci kupuju. Postoje razne vrste tržišta, a osnovna je podjela na savršenu i nesavršenu konkurenciju. U nekom sektoru, ukoliko pojedini prodavatelji mogu... More utjecati na cijenu svojih proizvoda, prevladava nesavršena konkurencija. U ovom radu bavit ćemo se monopolom. Monopol je oblik nesavršene konkurencije. Monopol je tržišna situacije gdje postoji samo jedan veliki ponuđač, koji zahvaljujući svom položaju, ima moć utjecati na cijene svog proizvoda budući da nema konkurencije, odnosno nema bliskih supstituta. Monopol može povećati cijenu svog proizvoda, za razliku od poduzeća koja su u konkurentskim granama, a da ne izgubi cjelokupnu prodaju. Monopolist sam određuje cijenu po kojoj će prodavati svoj proizvod. Monopolisti se susreću sa opadajućom krivuljom, tj. krivuljom negativnog nagiba. Monopol možemo podjeliti na četiri vrste: prirodni monopol, zakonski monopol, ekonomski monopol i oktopodski monopol. Kako bi situaciju na monopolskom tržištu održali pod kontrolom, poželjno je uplitanje države koja bi intervenirala svojom antimonopolskom politikom putem institucija koje se brinu da monopolisti ne iskorištavaju svoj moćan položaj na tržištu. Throughout the World on the million exchanges of various goods and services are done today. All this transactions are made on one place, we call market. According to that, the market is a place where offer and demand meet. A place where sellers offer their products and services in a determined price, and buyers buy the offered. There are various types of markets, the main division is on a perfect and imperfect competition. In a sector, if single sellers can influence the price of their... More products, prevails imperfect competition. In this work, we will cope with monopoly. Monopoly is a type of imperfect competition. Monopoly is a market situation, where there exists only one major provider, who thanks to it’s position, has the power to influence the prices of his products, because he has no competition, respectively no close substitutes. Monopoly can enlarge the price of the product, unlike the companies is competitive sectors, without the risk of losing the whole sales. Monopolists determine the sales price of his product. Monopolists meet declining curves, i.e. curves of a negative slope. We can divide monopoly on four kinds: natural monopoly, legal monopoly, economic monopoly and octopod monopoly. In oreder to hold situation on monopoly markets under control, it is preferable for the State to interfere with it´s antimonopoly politics, through institutions that take care of monopolists not to use their powerful position on the market.
