Abstract
U diplomskom radu analizirane su materijalne kompenzacije u Republici Hrvatskoj, odnosno kakav utjecaj imaju na zaposlenike, točnije na policijske službenike. Policijski službenici obavljaju jedan najodgovornijih poslova u društvu pa je u skladu s tim takav rad potrebno i pravedno nagraditi. Kao najvažnija materijalna kompenzacija ističe se plaća te se upravo plaćama zaposlenici nastoje potaknuti na kvalitetniji rad. Plaća zapravo predstavlja naknadu za obavljeni posao zaposlenika, stoga je potrebno urediti njenu visinu i strukturu. Upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima i razvijanje sustava motiviranja i nagrađivanja zaposlenika od osobite je važnosti zato što se na taj način održava zadovoljstvo zaposlenika što u konačnici utječe na radnu uspješnost. U policiji Republike Hrvatske postoji instrument kojim se prati radna uspješnost policijskih službenika što se ostvaruje godišnjom ocjenom policijskih službenika. Policijske službenike se motivira na različite načine od kojih je najvažnija plaća, a pored toga i upućivanje na školovanje i napredovanje zbog boljeg radnog mjesta, nagrade, priznanja i drugo.
Abstract (english)
In this diploma thesis, material compensations in the Republic of Croatia are analyzed. It is explained what impact material compensations have on employees, more precisely on police officers. Police officers perform one of the most responsible jobs in society, so it is necessary to reward such work fairly. The most important material compensation is the salary, and it is the salaries that encourage employees to work better. The salary is actually a compensation for the work done by the employee, so it is necessary to regultate amount and structure of the salary. Managing human resources nad developing a system of motivating and rewarding employees is of particular importance because it maintains employee satisfaction, which ultimately affects job performance. In the police of the Republic of Croatia, there i san instrument that monitors the performance of police officers, which is achieved by the annual assessment of police officers. Police officers are motivated in various ways, the most important of which is the salary, as well as referrals to eduaction and promotion for a better job, reward, recognition and more.
