Abstract
U suvremenim poduzećima temelj uspješnog poslovanja čini učinkovito upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima. Važna je stavka u menadžmentu ljudskih resursa u svakoj organizaciji motiviranje i poticanje na angažiranost zaposlenika koje treba u konačnici rezultirati zadovoljstvom djelatnika. Kroz ovaj rad je objašnjen pojam zadovoljstva zaposlenika i njegova uloga u postizanju boljih radnih učinaka pojedinaca, a veza između zadovoljstva na radnom mjestu i individualnih performansi zaposlenika je objašnjena na temelju podataka dobivenih kroz istraživanja koja su prethodno provedena na tu temu. U empirijskome dijelu rada je provedeno istraživanje kojim je ispitano zadovoljstvo zaposlenika u privatnom sektoru na području Republike Hrvatske, prikazani su rezultati provedenog istraživanja, a u raspravi su ti rezultati prokomentirani. Zaključno je utvrđen utjecaj navedenih čimbenika na produktivnost cijele organizacije.
Abstract (english)
In modern companies, the foundation of successful business is effective human resource management. An important item in human resource management in any organization is motivating and encouraging employee engagement, which should ultimately result in employee satisfaction. This paper explains the concept of employee satisfaction and its role in achieving better performance of individuals, and the relationship between job satisfaction and individual employee performance is presented through previous researches on this topic. In the empirical part of the paper, a survey of employee satisfaction in the private sector in the Republic of Croatia is conducted, the results of the research is presented, and these results are commented on in the discussion. In conclusion, the impact of these factors on the productivity of the entire is determined.
