The goal of this graduate paper was to research the factors influencing consumer satisfaction in internet commerce. electronic commerce which represents a form of exchanging good and services using electronic devices has brought numerous changes. The theoretical part of the paper defines the concept of electronic commerce and provides a detailed description of its forms, characteristics, advantages, disadvantages, and current trends. The advantages and disadvantages are listed and described from the perspectives of both the customer and the vendor. Concerning the trends in internet commerce, mobile commerce was described as a form of commerce which besides internet uses mobile handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets. Closely related to mobile commerce are social commerce and the trend of adapting the content based on user location also called LBS (Location-based services). The method used to research the factors influencing customer satisfaction was survey and the data was collected through an online questionnaire. The results show that the respondents are willing to spend larger amounts of money both on individual purchases and on an annual basis. The respondents mostly buy clothing, footwear, electronics, and household appliances using internet commerce. The majority believe that internet commerce saves them time but not transaction costs. Most of them also believe that the information available on the seller's website is accurate, up-todate, and equivalent to that in traditional stores. Regarding risks of internet commerce, respondents are well aware of them but still do not hesitate to provide their credit or debit card numbers for payment. Based on the results of the survey, it is evident that the respondents have confidence in internet commerce and are aware of the advantages and the risks it brings. A deeper understanding of the factors could be of benefit to vendors developing their internet stores. Further technological advancements could influence customers' attitudes and habits, making periodic research of this nature necessary.
