Abstract
Predmet završnog rada jedan je od oblika dominantne tržišne strukture - oligopol. Oligopol je oblik nesavršene konkurencije, odnosno tržišna struktura koja obuhvaća mali broj velikog broja poduzeća koja imaju udio u ukupnom tržištu te su međusobno ovisna jedna o drugima. Primarna ideja koja stoji iza oligopolističkog tržišta (oligopola) je da nekoliko poduzeća vlada na određenom tržištu ili u industriji, nudeći sličnu robu i usluge. Zbog ograničenog broja igrača na oligopolističkom tržištu... More konkurencija je ograničena što omogućava poduzećima da uspješno posluju. Proizvodi koje poduzeća na oligopolističkom tržištu proizvode mogu biti homogeni ili diferencirani te poduzeća kada donose odluku o cijeni proizvoda i količini proizvoda koje će proizvesti u obzir uvijek uzimaju odluke i ponašanje konkurencije na tržištu. Poduzeće na oligopolističkom tržištu često se povezuju kako bi ostvarila veću dobit ili kako bi spriječila ulazak novih konkurenata na tržište. S obzirom na mali broj jakih poduzeća na oligopolističkom tržištu i odnosa između istih te činjenice da postoje barijere za ulazak i izlazak s oligopolističkog tržištapoduzeća su često demotivirana za ulazak na oligopolističko tržište. Kada je u pitanju postizanje tržišne ravnoteže, kratkoročne i dugoročne, na oligopolističkom tržištu i u kratkom i u dugom roku poduzeća na oligopolističkom tržištu teže tome da ostvare profit. Osim što poduzeća na oligopolističkom tržištu mogu ostvariti profit ista mogu poslovati i s gubitkom ili biti na pozitivnoj nuli što se događa kada poduzeća imaju jednako visoke prihode i troškove u poslovanju. Abstract (english)
The subject of the final paper is one of the forms of the dominant market structure - oligopoly. An oligopoly is a form of imperfect competition, i.e., a market structure that includes a small number of a large number of companies that have a share in the overall market and are mutually dependent on each other. The primary idea behind an oligopolistic market (oligopoly) is that a few companies dominate a particular market or industry, offering similar goods and services. Due to the... More limited number of players in the oligopolistic market, competition is limited which allows companies to operate successfully. The products that companies in the oligopolistic market produce can be homogeneous or differentiated, and when companies decide on the price of the product and the quantity of the product, they will produce they always take into account the decisions and behavior of the competition on the market. Companies in an oligopolistic market often join to achieve higher profits or to prevent new competitors from entering the market. Given the small number of strong companies in the oligopolistic market and the relationship between them, as well as the fact that there are barriers to entry and exit from the oligopolistic market, companies are often demotivated to enter the oligopolistic market. When it comes to achieving market equilibrium, short-term and long-term, in an oligopolistic market, both in the short and long term, companies in an oligopolistic market tend to make a profit.
