Abstract
Obiteljsko poduzetništvo čineći većinu mikro i malih tvrtki u zemlji, ima ključnu ulogu u razvoju hrvatskog gospodarstva, kroz kreiranje novih radnih mjesta te stvaranje nove vrijednosti. Obiteljska poduzeća čine temelj europske ekonomije, s više od 85% svih europskih tvrtki, odgovornih za 60% radnih mjesta u privatnom sektoru. Obiteljska poduzeća imaju različitosti, ali ih povezuje vlasnički interes obitelji u poduzeću i predanost očuvanju obiteljskih vrijednosti i tradicije. S obzirom na... More to da se suočavaju s izazovima ravnoteže između obiteljskih dinamika i tržišnih zahtjeva, ključno je uspješno upravljati konfliktima i promjenama putem profesionalizacije i kontinuiranog učenja kako bi ostvarili dugoročni rast i održali konkurentnost u promjenjivom okruženju. Hrvatska se suočava s raznim izazovima, a samo neki od njih su nedostatak financijskih potpora, birokracija, korupcija te niske plaće, no unatoč raznim izazovima i dalje možemo svjedočiti primjerima uspješnih obiteljskih poduzeća, koja su se uspjela oduprijeti izazovima i postići zavidne rezultate. Jedan takav istaknuti primjer je obiteljsko poduzeće analizirano u ovom radu, koje pokazuje kako je njegovanjem obiteljskih vrijednosti, društvenom odgovornošću te profesionalnim i učinkovitim pristupom poslovanju itekako moguće uspjeti prebroditi izazove, osigurati svojem poduzeću dugoročnu održivost te time pridonijeti rastu nacionalnog gospodarstva. Rad se sastoji od teorijskog dijela koji pobliže objašnjava moguće definicije i tipologije obiteljskog poduzetništva, proces životnog vijeka poduzeća te proces tranzicije, kao jednog od najvećih izazova dugoročne održivosti obiteljskih poduzeća. Drugi, empirijski dio rada, fokusira se na analizu stanja obiteljskih poduzeća na prostoru Hrvatske i prikazuje percepciju hrvatskih obiteljskih poduzetnika o prilikama te izazovima u poslovanju obiteljskih poduzeća. Na kraju rada prikazan je i analiziran primjer dobre prakse obiteljskog poduzetništva u Republici Hrvatskoj. Less
Abstract (english)
Family entrepreneurship, making up the majority of micro and small companies in the country, plays a key role in the development of the global economy, the creation of new jobs, and the creation of new value. Family businesses form the foundation of the European economy, with more than 85% of all European companies, responsible for 60% of private sector jobs. Family businesses are diverse, but they are united by the family's ownership interest in the company and commitment to preserving... More family values and traditions. Given that they face the challenges of balancing family dynamics and market demands, it is crucial to successfully manage conflicts and changes through professionalization and continuous learning to achieve long-term growth and remain competitive in an ever-changing environment. Croatia faces various challenges, and only a few of them are the lack of financial support, bureaucracy, corruption, and low wages. However, despite the multiple challenges, we can still witness the examples of successful family businesses, which managed to resist the challenges and get the best out of their company and its employees. One such outstanding example is the family company analyzed in this paper, which shows that by nurturing family values, social responsibility, and a professional and efficient approach to business, it is quite possible to succeed in overcoming challenges, ensure the long-term sustainability of your company, and thus contribute to the growth of the national economy. The paper consists of a theoretical part that explains in detail the possible definitions and typologies of family entrepreneurship, the process of the company's lifetime, and the process of transition, as one of the biggest challenges to the long-term sustainability of family businesses. The second, empirical part of the paper focuses on the development of the state of family businesses in Croatia and shows the views of Croatian family entrepreneurs on their perception of opportunities and challenges of the family businesses. Eventually, an example of good practice of family business in the Republic of Croatia is presented and analyzed. Less
