Abstract | Rastuća poduzeća neophodna su za gospodarski razvoj svake zemlje. Rastuća poduzeća ne
samo da stvaraju nova radna mjesta, već i doprinose inovacijama i tehnološkom napretku.
Rast poduzeća posebno je važan u zemljama u razvoju gdje je nezaposlenost visoka i gdje je
prisutno siromaštvo. U tom kontekstu, model Allana Gibba za određivanje potencijala rasta
poduzeća koristan je alat za poduzetnike i investitore za procjenu potencijala poduzeća za
budući rast. Model Allana Gibba temelji se na četiri ključne analize: analiza performanse
poduzeća, analiza potencijala za rast, analiza planiranih projekata i analiza strategije i vizije
poduzeća. Analiza performanse odnosi se na analizu performanse na tržištu, proizvodnji i
financijsku analizu poslovanja poduzeća u kojoj se primjenjuju različiti alati za analizu
trenutne situacije, u kojoj poduzeće posluje. Analiza potencijala za rast promatra se kroz
osnovicu ideja, osnovicu iskustva, osnovicu kontrole, osnovicu liderstva i osnovicu resursa.
Analiza planiranih projekata provodi se kroz promatranje novih projekata, tržišta i klijenata,
organizacije i resursa, zaposlenike i fizičke resurse. Analiza strategije i vizije uključuje ocjenu
strateške svjesnosti poduzeća, te uključuje razumijevanje stakeholdera, benchmarking analizu
konkurencije, SWOT analizu, „što ako scenarije“ i dr. Prva razina analize (analiza
performance) važna je jer je za analizu cjelovite performanse poduzeća i donošenje odluke o
budućnosti (potencijalu za rast) važno analizirati i prošlu i sadašnju performansu poduzeća na
tržištu, u proizvodnji i u financijama. Druga razina analize (analiza potencijala za rast)
također je važna jer pruža detaljan uvid u potencijale za rast poduzeća kao što su kapacitet za
istraživanje i razvoj, stupanj razvijenosti ideja, resurse poduzeća, i druge važne faktore u
poslovanju poduzeća. Treća razina analize (strateška svjesnost i planirani projekti) važna je
zbog utvrđivanja strateške svjesnosti poduzeća koja se odnosi na svijest o trendovima u
okruženju i njegovom utjecaju na poslovanje poduzeća, posjedovanje vizije, postavljanje
ciljeva te definiranje strategija za njihovu realizaciju kao i uz sposobnost zaposlenika i
menadžmenta za realizaciju planiranih projekata. Model Allana Gibba koristan je jer pruža
sveobuhvatan okvir za procjenu potencijala rasta poduzeća te daje dobru osnovu za donošenje
kvalitetnih poslovnih odluka. Analizirajući poduzeće kroz ove tri analize, poduzetnici i
investitori mogu prepoznati snage i slabosti poduzeća i donijeti odluke kako razvijati
poduzeće. U ovom radu navedeni model procjene potencijala rasta poduzeća primijenio se na6
primjeru poduzeća CircuitMess. CircuitMess je inovativno i dinamično malo poduzeće u
području obrazovne tehnologije koja se bavi razvojem hardvera i softvera otvorenog koda.
Njihovi proizvodi, koji uključuju MAKERphone i Ringo DIY mobilni telefon, stekli su
značajna priznanja i pohvale za njihov ''hands on'' pristup obrazovanju o elektronici. Kako
interes za STEM obrazovanje i kulturu stvaranja proizvoda nastavlja rasti, CircuitMess se čini
zanimljivim primjerom za procjenu potencijala rasta. |
Abstract (english) | Growing businesses are essential for the economic development of any country. Growing
companies not only createing new jobs but also contributing to innovation and technological
progress. Business growth is especially important in developing countries where
unemployment is high and poverty is present. In this context, Allan Gibb's model for
determining a company's growth potential is a useful tool for entrepreneurs and investors to
assess a company's potential for future growth. Allan Gibb's model is based on four key
analyses: analysis of company performance, analysis of potential for growth, analysis of
planned projects, and analysis of company strategy and vision. Performance analysis refers to
performance analysis on the market, production, and financial analysis of the company's
operations, in which various tools are applied to analyze the current situation in which the
company operates. Analysis of growth potential is viewed through the idea base, experience
base, control base, leadership base, and resource base. The analysis of planned projects is
carried out through the observation of new projects, markets and clients, organizations and
resources, employees, and physical resources. The analysis of strategy and vision includes the
assessment of the company's strategic awareness, and includes stakeholder understanding,
benchmarking competition analysis, SWOT analysis, "what if scenarios", etc. The first level
of analysis (performance analysis) is important because it is for analyzing the complete
performance of the company and making a decision on the future (growth potential) it is
important to analyze the past and present performance of the company on the market, in
production and finance. The second level of analysis (growth potential analysis) is also
important because it provides detailed insight into the company's growth potential, such as
research and development capacity, degree of development of ideas, company resources, and
other important factors in the company's operations. The third level of analysis (strategic
awareness and planned projects) is important for determining the company's strategic
awareness, which refers to the awareness of trends in the environment and their impact on the
company's operations, having a vision, setting goals and defining strategies for their
realization, as well as the ability of employees and management for the realization of planned
projects. Allan Gibb's model is useful because it provides a comprehensive framework for
assessing a company's growth potential and provides a good basis for making quality business
decisions. By analyzing the company through these three analyses, entrepreneurs and
investors can recognize the strengths and weaknesses of the company and make decisions on8
how to develop the company. In this paper, the mentioned model for assessing the company's
growth potential was applied to the example of the company CircuitMess. CircuitMess is an
innovative and dynamic educational technology small business developing open-source
hardware and software. Their products, which include the MAKERphone and the Ringo DIY
mobile phone, have garnered significant recognition and praise for their hands-on approach to
electronics education. As interest in STEM education and the culture of product creation
continues to grow, CircuitMess seems like an interesting example to gauge growth potential. |
