Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je pojasniti ulogu sindikata kao samostalne organizacije zaposlenika kojoj je svrha uspostava ravnoteže među zaposlenicima i poslodavcima. Pravo na sindikalno organiziranje je sastavni dio općih prava i sloboda građanina te je i demokratsko dostignuće. Sindikalno udruživanje ima u prvom redu socijalno – ekonomski smisao zato što je u službi zadovoljavanja interesa zaposlenih. Stoga, sindikat se smatra samostalnom, demokratskom i neovisnom organizacijom zaposlenih koji se dobrovoljno udružuju da bi artikulirali, oblikovali i ostvarili zajedničke interese. U prvom dijelu radu govori se o samoj povijesti sindikata, odnosno o prvim udruženjima zaposlenika, o uvjetima utemeljenja sindikata. Nadalje, riječ je o pravima koja proistječu iz sindikalnog članstva, o unutarnjem ustrojstvu tijela sindikata te o njihovom utjecaju na društvena i politička zbivanja kao i o ulozi sindikata na tržištu rada. U radu su analizirani sindikati Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova Republike Hrvatske, odnosno provedeno je anketno istraživanje kojim se nastoji prikazati koliko su sindikati zastupljeni među zaposlenicima MUP-a Republike Hrvatske te kakvo je zadovoljstvo članova radom i aktivnostima sindikata.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis is to clarify the role of trade unions as an independent organization of workers whose purpose is to establish a balance between employees and employers. The right to organize is an integral part of the general rights and freedoms of citizens and is a democratic achievement. Trade union association has primarily a socio-economic meaning because it is in the service of satisfying the interests of employees. Therefore, a union is considered an autonomous, democratic, and autonomous organization of employees who vountarily associate to articulate, shape, and purse common interests. The first part of the paper discusses the history of trade unions, ie the first workers associations, the conditions of founding a trade union. Furthermore, these are the rights arising from trade union membership, the internal organization of trade union bodies and their impact on social and political events, as well as the role of trade unions in the labor market. The paper analyzed the unions of the Ministry of Inferior of the Republic of Croatia, that is, a survey was conducted to show the extent to which trade unions are represented among the employees of the Ministry of Inferior of the Republic of Croatia and the satisfaction of the members with the work and activities of the trade union.
