Abstract
U modernom dobu više nema sumnje da hrana može spriječiti i ublažiti po život opasne bolesti. Hipokrat je još 390. g. prije Krista izrekao „ Neka hrana bude vaš lijek, a lijek vaša hrana“, a otkrića o hrani kao lijeku svete Hildegarde iz Bingena u 12 stoljeću i tisuću godina kasnije su vrlo aktualna. Izvanredne hranjive i ljekovite mogućnosti hrane posljednjih desetljeća mnogi stručnjaci sa područja prehrane – nutricionisti, doktori i znanstvenici iz raznih institucija u svojim ... More istraživanjima i potvrđuju. Važnost zdrave prehrane nikada nije bila bitnija nego u ovo doba ubrzanog životnog stila, sve veće zagađenosti prirode, te povećanja broja kroničnih, autoimunih, malignih i kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Svijest o pravilnoj prehrani, te zdravom načinu života sve se više povećava, zbog toga proizvođači hrane prate najnovija kretanja i trendove na tržištu jer su i potrošači sve educiraniji i zahtjevniji. Abstract (english)
In the modern age there is no more doubt that food can prevent and palliate life threatening diseases. Even 390 BC Hipocrates said- Let the food be your medicine and the medicine your food! The findings about the food as medicine of Saint Hildegard of Bingen in 12th century are still current topic even thousand years later. Numerous nutricionists, doctors and scientists from different institutions are confirming through their researches the extraordinary nutritious and healing... More benefits of food in the last decades. The importance of healthy diet was never more important as we live in a period of extremely busy and accelerated lifestyle, increased pollution, constant increase of chronic, autoimune, malignant and cardiovascular diseases. The awareness of proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle is increasing and therefore food manufacturers are following latest trends on the market as the consumers are more educated and demanding. Less
