Commissioning is one of the warehousing processes that represents the search, collection or exclusion and consolidation of products from their storage positions according to the customer's order. Commissioning occupies the largest share in the costs of warehousing processes, because it is the most labor-intensive and most expensive activity for almost every warehouse. It is estimated that order selection costs account for as much as 55% of total warehouse operating costs. To carry out the commissioning process, the three functional elements of commissioning must be combined in one place, namely: picker, the item access unit and the order collection unit. Depending on the combination of these three functional elements, a certain commissioning method is selected, so there are several divisions of commissioning methods, namely: Commissioning methods regarding product and picker movement, commissioning about the number of orders and excludes. The paper places the greatest emphasis on the method of "parts-to-picker" since the selected example that is analyzed in the research part of the paper precisely applies this method of commissioning. This method is specific in that the products in the warehouse with the help of the AS/RS system move towards the stationary commission agent, ie the commissioning is performed by a specific robot. For the purposes of this paper, the application of Rowa Vmax robots in the Tripolski pharmacy in Osijek was analyzed and the advantages of using robots in the commissioning process were noticed, but certain shortcomings were noticed and ways to improve these shortcomings were suggested.
