Abstract
Savršena konkurencija i monopol predstavljaju dvije tržišne strukture koje su po svojim karakteristikama tržišne suprotnosti. Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je kratkoročna i dugoročna ravnoteža na tržištu savršene konkurencije. Savršena konkurencija uvelike se razlikuje od ostalih tržišnih struktura zbog činjenice da su cijene na tržištu savršene konkurencije definirane zakonom ponude i potražnje te ponuđači nemaju mogućnost kreiranja svojih cijena, nego su prisiljeni prilagoditi se postavljenim cijenama. S obzirom da je cijena na tržištu savršene konkurencije zadana, možemo govoriti o tome da je cijena savršeno elastična. Savršeno elastična potražnja na tržištu savršene konkurencije podrazumijeva da poduzeće može prodati bilo koju proizvedenu količinu po trenutnoj tržišnoj cijeni. Neki od uvjeta savršene konkurencije su veliki broj prodavatelja i kupaca, homogenost proizvoda, slobodan ulazak i izlazak sa tržišta te savršena informiranost i mobilnost faktora proizvodnje. Zbog potrebe zadovoljavanja svih navedenih te brojnih drugih uvjeta, tržište savršene konkurencije promatra se ponajprije sa teorijskog aspekta.
Abstract (english)
Perfect competition and monopoly are two market structures that are by their characteristics market opposites. The subject of this thesis is short-term and long-term equilibrium in the market of perfect competition. Perfect competition is very different from other market structures due to the fact that prices in the market of perfect competition are defined by the law of supply and demand and sellers do not have the ability to create their own prices, but are forced to adjust to set prices. Considering that the price in the market of perfect competition is given, we can say that the price is perfectly elastic. Perfectly elastic demand in a market of perfect competition implies that a company can sell any quantity produced at the current market price. Some of the conditions for perfect competition are a large number of sellers and buyers, product homogeneity, free entry and exit from the market, perfect information and mobility of production factors. Due to the need to meet all these and many other conditions, the market of perfect competition is viewed primarily from a theoretical aspect.
