With the growing popularity of the concept of social responsibility, ie socially responsible business (CSR), an increasing number of companies are contributing and introducing this very concept into their business. Corporate social responsibility is a concept in which business entities on a voluntary basis implement care for the environment and society in all their business activities, but also in relations with other stakeholders. Accordingly, the notion of social responsibility is not only the fulfillment of legal obligations, but more than that, it refers to investment in stakeholders, human capital and the environment. Risk management is a systematic method that analyzes, identifies and measures different types of risks that may occur in business. Since it is attracting more and more attention in recent times, more and more is being written about this topic in various professional literature. The point is to identify every possible risk so that it can be removed in time, that is, to be reduced to a minimum. Although CSR brings with it many challenges, the implementation of this concept in business also affects risks. The aim of this paper is to show the connection between socially responsible business and risk management. Also, another goal is to explore the knowledge of the concept of corporate social responsibility, as well as companies in Croatia that successfully conduct it, through a survey at the end of the paper.
