Logistics represents a significant part of the company's activities. Today, in global business conditions, that place is mainly occupied by international logistics. Companies operating on the international market implement various strategies in order to become and remain competitive on that market. One of the topics that arises in the theory and practice of logistics is return logistics. Return logistics, as the name suggests, refers to the logistics of returning goods. Although it seems like a simple return action, it is a complex process that requires resources, time and space. The subject of this thesis is return logistics in international business, with an emphasis on return logistics of the trade chain. The processes of logistics business are described on the example of a business entity. Processes that include the part from receiving the goods from the supplier to the situation when the goods arrive at the branch that has the closest contact with the end customer. The work covers the entire supply chain process with a focus on the part of reverse logistics and transport. The aim of the paper is to offer suggestions for improvement based on a detailed analysis of current practice. The goal is also to show the reverse logistics process in the analyzed trade chain. Return logistics is considered a cost when taking into account the goods, because they are transported 3 times, while this is not the case with packaging. The goals of optimizing the operations of warehouse processes move in the direction of reducing the costs of warehouse processes and shortening them, more precisely, facilitating the work of employees within the performance of work tasks in one process or shortening the working hours within the process so that they can devote themselves to and help in other warehouse processes. The suggestion solutions would increase the quality of work and thereby increase the profitability of the retail chain, which brings the difference between retail chains.
