Abstract	Digitalna transformacija postala je neizostavna za suvremeno gospodarstvo. Organizacije koje teže globalnoj konkurentnosti moraju usvojiti tehnološke inovacije kako bi se prilagodile digitalnom dobu. No, s tim korakom dolaze i izazovi koje treba pravovremeno prepoznati i svladati. Razumijevanje ponašanja svjetskih gospodarstava u svjetlu digitalne transformacije ključno je za njihovu prepoznatljivost i konkurentnost. Mnogobrojni su primjeri poduzeća koja su primijenila digitalnu transformaciju koja im je omogućila da poboljšaju svoje poslovanje i da budu pri samom vrhu. Također, brojni su sektori gospodarstva u kojima je ona prisutna, no ipak ima i onih koju zaostaju u implementaciji poput sektora poljoprivrede, kao i s izazovom „digitalizacije usluga“. Sa sve bržom digitalizacijom poslovnih procesa, digitalna transformacija postaje ključna za poboljšanje načina na koji tvrtke rade, za stvaranje prepoznatljivosti te postizanje uspjeha kako na globalnoj, tako i na lokalnoj razini. Ova promjena ima dubok utjecaj na oblikovanje poslovnih okvira i način na koji poslovanje funkcionira u današnjem modernom ekonomskom okruženju.
Abstract (english)	Digital transformation has become indispensable for the modern economy. Companies striving for global competitiveness must adopt technological innovations to adapt to the digital age. However, this move brings challenges that must be identified and addressed in a timely manner. Understanding how the global economy is behaving in the face of digital transformation is critical to recognizing it and becoming competitive. There are numerous examples of companies that have leveraged digital transformation to improve their operations and come out on top. There are also numerous sectors of the economy where it is already present, but there are still some that lag behind in implementation, such as the agricultural sector, as well as the challenge of "digitization of services". As the digitization of business processes accelerates, digital transformation is becoming a key enabler for improving the way businesses operate, creating recognition, and achieving success globally and locally. This transformation has profound implications for shaping the business environment and the way companies operate in today's modern business world.
