Abstract
Proizvodnja vina na tlu današnje Hrvatske prisutna je od predrimskog razdoblja. Danas predstavlja vrlo važnu gospodarsku granu. Hrvatska je bogata brojnim sortama vinove loze. Zaostaje za europskim zemljama po površinama vinograda, ali je i dalje bogata kvalitetnom ponudom vina. Obzirom na smanjenu količinu vinograda, u Hrvatskoj se danas nalazi više uvoznih nego domaćih vina. Hrvatska ima dvije glavne vinogradarske regije, primorska Hrvatska i kontinentalna Hrvatska, one su podijeljenje u dvanaest podregija. Nedovoljno marketinga je posvećeno vinskoj industriji. Hrvatska malo pažnje posvećuje istraživanju tržišta s time da su najbolja i najpoznatija vina nastala na temelju istraživanja tržišta odnosno želja i potreba potrošača. Vino ima značajnu ulogu u turizmu jer turisti uvijek žele probati domaće hrvatske specijalitete. Vinske kušaonice ucrtane su u turističke karte, a vinske ceste prolaze kroz vinograde, vinarije i vinske kušaonice. Najvažniji hrvatski vinogradarski običaji suVincekovo, Ivanje, Jurjevo, Martinje i Miholje.
Abstract (english)
Production of wine in Croatia is present since the pre-Roman period. Today it presents a very important economic branch. Croatia is rich in numerous grape varieties. As it is a smaller country Croatia has far less vineyards than many other European wine producing countries, but the quality od wine is still highly acknowledged throughout Europe. Due to reduced amount of vineyards, there are more imported then domestic wines in Croatia today. Croatia has two main vineyard regions , continental Croatia and coastal Croatia, which are divided into twelve subregions. Inadequate amount of marketing strategy is put towards promoting wine industries in Croatia. Problem is that Croatia is putting little to no effort in market research, but the fact is that the best and most famous wines are created on the basis of market research, i.e. the wishes and needs of consumers. Wine tasting rooms are marked on tourist maps, and wine routes are passing through vineyards, wineries and wine tasting rooms. The most important Croatian winegrowing customs are Vincekovo, Ivanje, Jurjevo, Martinje and Miholje.
