The paper deals with the impact of mobile applications on time management in business. The aim of the paper is to indicate the necessity of time management in every business entity and at the same time to focus on the usage of mobile applications. By developing technology and e-business, mobile applications are becoming more accessible for use in private life as well as business. Given that today's pace of life is very dynamic, the advantage have those business entities that decided to make use of information technology and have implemented them in their business. Based on the collected secondary information, theoretical considerations related to time as an important resource and concept of time management are presented in the first part of the paper. With the usage of descriptive method, the second part of the paper is devoted to mobile technology and on examples of mobile applications for time management, namely: Evolva TMS, Wunderlist, Evernote, Asana and Harvest, it is shown how these applications can be used in business and which benefits they offer to the entire business entity and their employees. In the third part of the paper, a survey was conducted on a representative sample of young people with a purpose to have an insight in their time management habits. Their preferences for future employers that use mobile applications for time management in their business were researched. It is suggested to include the experience and attitudes of employees in business entities that implement mobile applications for time management in future researches on this topic.
