The aim of this research was to evaluate seller's awareness of his own and nonverbal communication of other person, to check the relation between nonverbal communication of seller and customers and to determine which forms of seller's nonverbal communication customers prefer. While observing at store, nonverbal communication was tested by checklist for sellers and customers and 10 participants have been participated (9 customers and 1 seller) in obseving. After the observation, a structured interview was conducted with seller in order to determine seller's awareness of his own and others nonverbal communication. The connection between the quality of nonverbal communications of seller and customers is verified by calculation of correlations. The customer's preference for seller's nonverbal communication was examined by the questionnaire of estimate for nonverbal communication. In fulfilling questionnaire 122 participants were participating. The results from the observation and the interview with the seller indicate thet seller was just partially aware of his and other's nonverbal communication and that nonverbal communication of the seller is partially connected to the nonverbal communication of the customers. Data collected by questionnaire show that customers prefer forms of seller's nonverbal communication that indicate a friendly mood, sincerity and openness while movements that give impression of seller's insecurity, concern, anger and disinterest are considered to be less prefered. Statistically significant differences in preferention of differnet forms of nonverbal communication is terms of sex, age, working status and socioeconomics status weren't found.
