In today's market where it is difficult to meet consumer expectations and at the same time survive as a company, technology that can meet the needs of both parties plays a major role. This paper shows how the reconstruction and modernization of an existing apple orchard can lead to the increase of yields and at the same time satisfy the consumers. With the reconstruction of the existing orchard, the investor would fully complete the investment project in the orchard production, which would be protected from the negative impacts of elemental disasters - hail, frost and drought, and, consequently, the production risks would be minimized. Constant yields and quality will be ensured. Establishment equipment is also planned with the most modern infrastructure to optimize the production process. When investing in a technological process, with the fulfillment of these investments, the latest scientific knowledge and technological solutions will be taken into account. The purpose of this paper is to show how the preparation of a project for reconstruction and establishment a new orchard looks like, and in the project part of the paper it is presented and elaborated in a project monitoring tool OpenProj. This tool shows detailed timing and planned processes. The reconstruction project and the establishment of the new orchard will be carried out on 2 locations. The second part of the paper describes the cultivation of apples and important parameters for achieving the expected yield. The data used in the paper were obtained from an actual company, and due to the privacy requirement, the agricultural holding will be named Voćka d.o.o. in the rest of the paper.
