The purpose of this paper is to explain in more detail the basics and the most important concepts of organization and the way it works. Its complex structure and important factors influencing the final business result are presented. In order for this result to be positive, it is necessary to set goals and strategies, distribute tasks evenly and most importantly, find the middle ground when it comes to employee behaviour. The main part of the final work is are the ways and types of rewarding employees. Content theories of motivation are described, which help organizations to cope more easily with the role of a successful leader. Maslow's theory is hierarchically arranged and has five levels, while Herzberg's has only two. In theory, there are tangible and intangible rewards, as well as the possibility of punishment and the consequences of not rewarding a worker. Material rewards are mainly reduced to financial support, while intangibles can take many more forms, depending on the creativity of the employer and his knowledge of his own workers. In order to better present the entire reward system, a public survey was conducted on the social network and two surverys where conducted in the selected company. Respondents have four basic questions at their disposal. After it is known in what percentages an individual is satisfied or dissatisfied, the ways of motivation and rewarding in successful organizations are described. Several examples were used in the paper in order to see the differences in the way of doing business and the attitude towards employees.
