This final paper deals with business communication that uses a presentation as an auxiliary tool for successful communication. The first part of the paper is dedicated to preparing speeches and presentations, giving instructions on how to better prepare for a public speech and how to lay out PowerPoint slides to follow the speech. The second part of the work deals with verbal and non-verbal communication. The verbal part focuses on the speaker's voice, the use of words, tonalities, and the way of telling what he wants to convey to the audience. Storytelling is an excellent method for creating stories and connecting with the audience, which has been confirmed by numerous scientific researches that are cited in this paper. Although nonverbal communication is mostly not taken seriously, it makes up to 55% of the first impression the audience gains. The impression gained is difficult to change and it greatly influences the willingness of the audience to hear the speech to the end. The non-verbal part emphasizes the importance of body language and focuses on a few things that create the first impression of the audience - clothing, posture, gestures and movements. The final part focuses on how to successfully complete a public speech and how to respond to the questions of the audience. It is important to note that there are numerous experts' tips that can be applied instantly, thus bringing the speaker's communication and presentation skills to a new level.
