Suburbanization implies the process of migration of the population from the center of the city to the periphery, into settlements on the outskirts of the city, whereas observing the condition of the process itself, we should consider economic and technological progress, social movement and social policy and value orientation. The sociological approach to suburbanisation takes into the account following elements: leaving the city in the area around the city, dwelling as the primary function (albeit not the only one), and the choice of groups and individuals not to stay in the city but to leave it. Other urban growth models presented in the accompanying paper include Lowry's model, model of specialization and model of urban concentration of the economy. Creative cities can be defined as dynamic places of experimentation and innovation where new ideas emerge and people from all walks of life meet to make their communities a better place to live in, work and play. The Smart City is a city that addresses problems by means of ICT solutions based on more interested parties and their interaction in the observed locality (city, region, state). Smart Cities are additionally defined through six dimensions: smart economy, smart mobility, smart environment, smart people, smart living, smart rule of law. The concept of creative and smart cities is embedded in response to the question of how cities can at the same time be more efficient, more attractive for tourists and more comfortable for permanent as well as temporary population.
