The final paper entitled as Representation and Importance of Management Roles in Management starts from the importance of this topic in the world of business, but also from very strong links with many sciences and their branches. The paper presents the most important determinants of management as a starting point for expressing the importance of managers themselves. The aim of this paper is thus divided into several determinants, where the key is to express the relationship between management and the actions of managers, and then holistically express the dimensions of the competencies of managers, and especially their roles. The paper is composed of two main parts; the first which indicates the etymology and theoretical determinants of the basic concepts, i.e. management and managers, and the second which shows a specific example of the roles of managers (in this case in the hotel industry) and why they are important given the business settings in the globalization world. In addition, the paper points out the importance of emotional intelligence in order for managerial leadership, regardless of the degree of hierarchy, to be distinguished as successful. Also, regarding the selected example, it was selected because of the possibility of access to internal data of the local hotel chain, Jadran Hotel d.d., and a special review was made in accordance with the current situation in the world, which is related to the coronavirus pandemic. By pointing out the roles of managers and linking them to the determinants of state bodies for regulating the situation during a pandemic, the significance of all management roles is demonstrated in more details.
