The topic of the work is "Business ethics", and it refers to the standards for morally right and wrong behavior in business. The law partially defines behavior, but "legal" and "ethical" principles are not necessarily the same. Business ethics advance the law by specifying acceptable behaviors beyond the control of government. Business ethics are important for every company. Ethical principles guide companies, so that trade and interactions between companies remain fair, and generally make goods and services better. Distinguishing what a company will do and what it won't is not always the same for every organization, but knowing the basic ethical guidelines is a key component of running a business. Ethics is a scientific discipline that studies morality. Ethical and responsible business has gained more and more importance in the last few years. Business ethics indicates how ethical principles are applied in business, which is why it becomes an irreplaceable part of business practice and a condition for the success of organizations' operations and a very important segment of every company's business. In the process of their business, successful organizations connect ethics with profitability, i.e. making a profit. Managers should make decisions in accordance with their own morals. Today, the importance of business ethics and socially responsible operations of organizations is being discussed more and more. More and more organizations are not using this term just to gain a better reputation on the market, but it is becoming an integral part of a strategy focused on longterm and successful business, as well as sustainable social and economic development of the community in which they operate. The purpose of the thesis is to discuss the concept of business ethics and to investigate the issue of business ethics, ethical dilemmas and factors that influence the ethics of business in organizations.
