Human Resources Management is especially important function of management because it regards the most important and the only living element of every organization: man. People and their competences, talents, capacities and commitments are the most important factor of successful organizations. Precisely because organizations, which recognize the importance of the human resources, realize that investing in people, attracting and motivating makes a crucial difference that separates successful from unsuccessfull organizations.“ Human resources are the basis on which the company's strategy is built. All resources, such as machinery, raw materials, capital, and aims such as productivity and satisfaction of consumers - arise from people and they are based on their activity. „ (Marušić, 2001:75) The aim of this work is to extend and expand previously acquired knowledge of the activities of Human resources management and to present and analyze the activities of human resource management in the company "xy". In the final work are used primary and secondary data sources. Data from the primary sources are collected through semi-structured interview with Ivan Horvat, who is in charge in the company "xy" for the conduction of activities of human resource management. Secondary data sources were various websites, the website of the mentioned company, books, lecture notes. On the end of the final work is concluded that the conduction and harmonization of the activity of human resource management is extremely demanding process, but that if it is well arranged and continuously carried out, it results in multiple benefits at the company level and individual.
