The development of technology leads to the development of completely new business concepts, and also to the adaptation of already existing concepts to the online world. One of these existing concepts that has been adapted to the online world is called online category management. The advent of the Internet led to the development of websites, and also to the development of online business. Internet business has led to the development of web stores with the help of which customers can buy different types of products without going to a physical store. Once Coronavirus appeared, there was an increase in the use of web stores, and many business entities that only had physical stores started creating web stores in order to continue their business and compete with other retailers. Sellers who set out to create their web stores faced the problem of how to present the products and product categories they offer in the online world. Because of these problems, they had to adapt the classic category management in a way that would work in the online world. The purpose of the paper is to point out the importance of using the concept of online category management and to show how it is used in a real-life scenario. Also, the goal is to establish how certain factors within the web store affect the satisfaction of the shopping experience and which web store participants are more satisfied with (Links or Sancta Domenica). The primary research was conducted on the basis of a questionnaire filled out by 103 participants, and the results of the analysis met the aforementioned goals.
