Competitiveness is one of the most powerful processes of modern economic thinking. Increased exports are an important item for the Republic of Croatia since the increase in exports leads to the creation of new jobs, i.e. higher employment. Aggregate demand is considered a component of exports and thus increasing exports increases our GDP. Through this work, we will explore the strength and power of the Republic of Croatia in the amount of exports of goods products and services to the European union. We will also compare the exports of the Republic of Croatia with the exports of other European union’s countries. We will explore those products that are exported the most and show their quantity in the countries with which we cooperate the most in the field of export. Croatia has a competitiveness sector that coordinates and manages all the tasks that affect the improvement and strengthening of Croatia's competitiveness itself. As we know, export is a very important item for Croatia because it allows us financial and other restrictions of the domestic market. Foreign investment and economic growth occupy one of the most important places in some of the growth analyses, they also affect the performance of individual countries. We will also list the main types of exports through this paper. We will show the export and import of goods on the chart. Exports and imports will be compared before Joining the European union and after Croatia's accession to the European union. The main goal of the paper was to analyze and explain the competitiveness of Croatian exports in the European union environment.
