Sažetak (engleski) | In recent years, and especially after the experience with the pandemic, working at a separate workplace, i.e. working from home, is increasingly coming to the focus of the research. Employers are intensively thinking about rationalizing the work space and reducing business costs. On the other hand, there are more and more workers who want more flexible workplaces that will not limit them spatially. The reasons for the introduction of flexible workplaces can be social changes, primarily sociological, global pandemics or health issues, austerity policies, global technological and environmental changes. Today, modern technologies are used in a flexible work model, including computers, smartphones, tablets, various software and other equipment that increases the quality of work from home and reduces the gap between working at the employer's headquarters and working remotely. The purpose of this final paper is to investigate the views of employers, i.e. managers and employees on the subject of working from home, and to see if there are differences between their perceptions. Research has shown that employees prefer working from home because it is more comfortable, flexible and encourages them to be more productive. However, in this way of working, the lack of social interaction with colleagues as well as non-payment of additional costs by employers is highlighted. On the other hand, managers prefer to work at the employer's headquarters. As a reason, they cite a better possibility to control and manage business and people. |
